Catherine Renken, NP

Catherine (Katie) Renken, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Spring Valley Internal Medicine, which has locations in Washington, DC, and Bethesda, Maryland. She is eager to provide holistic, evidence-based, patient-centered care to her patients. 

Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 1997. In December 2022, Katie earned her Master of Science in Nursing after completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Shenandoah University. 

To help her stay up to date on the latest advancements in her field and offer the most outstanding care possible to her patients, Katie maintains memberships with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. She also serves as the Treasurer for the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, Northern Virginia Region.
